クロスロード教会は、イエス・キリストに従う者たちの家族であり、砕かれ傷ついた者が変えられ、整えられて、この世の希望となるために存在します。

Crossroad is a family of followers of Jesus Christ who were once broken and hurt but now are being changed and equipped to be a beacon of hope for this world.

この目的宣言文は私たちの教会の存在理由を明確に述べています。私たちは家族のようであり、第一の価値観は互いに愛し合うことです。私たちがキリストのもとに来た時、様々な形で傷つき、砕かれていましたが、教会はイエス・キリストがそのような私たちをその恵みによって癒し、その御言葉とご自身の民を通して励まし、その全能の力によって力づけ、神様が私たちに備えられた働きをすることができるように整えるために神様が用いられるすばらしい器です。私たちが神様とその聖さを追い求め、キリストに心から従い、聖霊に満たされる時、教会は、ただ恵みによって救われた罪人の集まりにもかかわらず、この世の希望となると、私たちは堅く信じています。

We are a family. Our primary value is to accept each other. When we came to Christ, we were broken and hurt in so many ways. Church is the place where Jesus puts us to heal us with His healing grace, to encourage us through His Word and His people, to empower us with his mighty power and to equip us to do what He wants us to do in our lives. As we pursue God and his holiness, as we follow Jesus with all our heart and as we are filled with His Spirit, we become a church family. Furthermore we believe that we as a church, though we are a group of sinners, are saved by God’s grace. We can become a beacon of hope for the world.
