Online Message FAQ
WHAT ARE ONLINE MESSAGES?
All sermons preached at Crossroad on Sundays and other special messages are recorded. Those are then made available on our website as “streaming” or “podcasts”.
WHAT IS STREAMING?
Streaming means that you can click on the icon and immediately (within a few seconds) begin listening to the sermon.
WHAT IS PODCASTING?
Podcasting is a method of automatically distributing audio and video content over the Internet. The word ‘podcasting’ is a mix of the words ‘iPod’ (Apple’s popular portable mp3 player) and ‘broadcasting.’
DO I NEED AN IPOD TO DOWNLOAD AND LISTEN TO A PODCAST?
NO! To download a podcast, you only need a computer with an Internet connection and podcast software (which you’ll need to install). Apple’s iTunes is one such program that is popular for downloading and listening to podcasts. To listen to our online messages, you’ll need an mp3 player or any computer with audio-playing software.
CAN I GET THE MESSAGES EACH WEEK AUTOMATICALLY?
YES! You can subscribe to our messages so that they are sent to you automatically each week. Click on the image on the left, which will take you to iTunes where you can subscribe.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
All Crossroad online messages are free. If you would like to donate to help support this part of our ministry, please send an email to information@crossroad-web.com
WHEN ARE MESSAGES AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING?
Our online messages are available at 24 hours after the Sunday service. Older messages are available in the Message Archives area
CAN I MAKE COPIES OF THE MESSAGE TO GIVE AWAY TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS?
YES! Please feel free to give it to anyone that you want. If they like it, please tell them our website address and encourage them to download or subscribe to future podcasts themselves.
